Level Up Your Life: A Busy Mum’s Journey


Hey there! I’m Tahlia. I’m in my early thirties, a busy Mum of three, currently working part time, and someone who’s finally ready to step into the life I’ve always dreamed of. This year, I’ve made a commitment to level up in my health, mindset, finances, and personal growth.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in the daily grind, juggling responsibilities, and wondering when it’s your turn to thrive, I see you. And I want to share the exact steps I’m taking to elevate my life so you can do it too!

Step 1: Prioritising My Health (Body & Mind!)

For years, I put myself last, but I’ve realized that when I take care of myself, everything else falls into place. After having my children, I gained 25kg, and I knew it was time to take control of my health—not just for weight loss, but for my overall well-being. This year, I’m committed to making my health a priority—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

✔ Eating nourishing foods that give me energy.
✔ Moving my body in ways I enjoy (Walking, strength workouts and pilates!).
✔ Practicing mindfulness to reduce stress and stay present with my kids (I love using the RISE app)
✔ Using Mounjaro as a tool to support my weight loss journey and help me regain control over food.

I’ve learned that losing weight isn’t just about a number on the scale it’s about feeling strong, energised, and confident. Mounjaro has been part of my journey, helping me stay on track while I focus on building healthy habits for life.

Try this: Set aside dedicated time each week just for you, whether it’s a workout, a relaxing bath, or a solo coffee break. Schedule in your exercise like an appointment, so it becomes a non-negotiable part of your routine. And for a small daily habit, start your morning with a 5-minute self-care ritual—stretching, journaling, or a quiet cup of coffee before the chaos begins. Small, consistent habits make all the difference!

Step 2: Rewiring My Money Mindset

I used to think wealth was out of reach, but I’ve learned that money is just a tool. This year, I’m:
✔ Tracking my spending and setting financial goals.
✔ Learning about passive income, investing & wealth building.
✔ Letting go of limiting beliefs and adopting an abundance mindset.

Try this: Write down 3 money affirmations (e.g., Money flows easily to me) and say them daily!

Step 3: Self-Development & Personal Growth

Growth doesn’t happen by accident, it’s a choice! This year, I’m:
✔ Reading more books that inspire me (currently loving The Let them Theory by Mel Robbins).
✔ Surrounding myself with positive, like-minded people.
✔ Pushing past fear and taking action on my dreams.

Try this: Make a list of habits that support your best self and commit to one small change today.

Step 4: Building Wealth & Creating Freedom

I’ve decided that I’m not waiting for “someday” to start creating wealth. I’m starting now! My plan includes:
✔ Monetising my blog & Pinterest to create passive income.
✔ Learning about investing and growing my savings.
✔ Creating a life where money works for me, not the other way around.

Try this: If you want to build wealth, start by finding one new income stream, side hustle, blog, freelancing, anything!
